FREE COVERAGE
|
If no higher amount is declared, ALL moves include the basic coverage of
$0.60 per lb. per article with a maximum coverage of $60.00 per article.

VALUATION: A higher
liability taken by 1St Class
Moving Storage to cover your goods. No Insurance Certificate is
issued. Claims are filed directly with 1St
Class Moving Storage. No deductible will apply.
** INSURANCE:
Is insurance purchased from a licensed insurance company.
An Insurance Certificate will be issued in the shipper’s name.
Claims will be filed directly with the insurance company and it might be
subject to a deductible. Insurance is subject to a minimum Declared
Value and must be ordered at least 10 days prior to the scheduled move
date.
STORAGE:
For all shipment
going into our storage facility, the Declared Value must a minimum of
$4.00 X the Weight of the shipment.
A monthly fee equal to $1.00 per $1,000.00 of Declared Value will
also be added to the regular monthly storage fee which will cover the
items while they’re in storage.
GENERAL RULES: Items packed by owner are not
covered under any of the above options.
Mechanical conditions are not covered
unless there is apparent physical damage.
All claims for local moves must be
filed within 90 days from date of move.
